    About Us

Welcome! We are a young, dynamic Indonesian (local owner), English speaking couple called Yoris and Fransiska.

with aour guestBorn in Sumatra we come from tourism and nursing backgrounds and along with our friendly staff, we love to meet the people that come from all over the world to stay with us.

We established Lovina Krui Surf Cottages in 2012 at Tanjung Setia beach, Lampung, because we recognized that it was an incredible surf spot that also provided an ideal base to explore many other great waves in the area. We also loved the lush tropical jungle surroundings and the relaxed vibe of the area.

It is our pleasure to offer you some of the best accommodation available in the region. Your will also be pleased to know that our guests rave about our mouth-watering food, with a menu that changes daily. Most importantly, we offer you honest service, with a smile!

brak 3Our local wave, Ujung Bocur  is a super-fun 250+ meter left hander that breaks from anywhere from 2 to 15 feet. It picks up Indian Ocean swells, making it one of the most consistent spots in Indonesia. The best wind and swell conditions are generally from April through to October. Crowds here are still super mellow, with an average of 10-15 surfers in the water during peak periods.

Within walking distance there is also is a super fun left and right called Volcanoes that often breaks during bigger swells. Plenty of other waves are also within easy driving distance – check our WAVES page and Surfing Map for more information.
